Tangem sells a hardware wallet that looks like a bank card. You tap it to your phone, and the private key never leaves the chip. It is also the brand with the most generous referral discount among the big hardware wallet makers, as long as you use it the right way. A typed Tangem promo code gives 10% off. The same referral shared as a link has been giving 30%.

What a Tangem promo code actually does

Every Tangem owner can generate a personal referral code in the Tangem app. A buyer who uses it on tangem.com gets 10% off a Tangem Wallet, and the owner of the code receives USDT for each wallet sold. That part is stable and appears both in the help center and on the blog.

The newer part is the link. Tangem’s referral blog post says that when you share a link instead of a bare code, the promo code SEEDLESS is applied automatically on top of the referral discount, giving the friend 30% off in total. The same post says the referrer’s reward has been doubled from 5 to 10 USDT. The help center FAQ, meanwhile, still says 10% and 5 USDT.

Typed code vs referral link: real prices

Tangem sells its wallet as a set of two or three cards. Each card is a full backup of the same wallet, so losing one does not lose your funds. The prices below are from tangem.com’s pricing page at the time of checking.

Tangem’s referral pages talk about the Tangem Wallet specifically. The Tangem Ring and the Pro Kit are sold on the same site, but Tangem does not state whether the referral discount applies to them, so check the cart if you are buying either.

Tangem’s own promo codes vs the referral code

Tangem also runs its own time-limited codes, shown in the banner on tangem.com. When we checked, they included a sitewide 10% code and a 30% offer for people switching from seed-phrase wallets, plus a 10% code for signing up to the newsletter. Free standard shipping applied above $100, VAT excluded.

These promotions come and go, and Tangem does not publish a rule on whether they stack with a referral code. In practice, checkouts generally accept one discount code, so compare the two before paying. If a sitewide sale gives the same 30% as the referral link, the link adds nothing for you but still earns the person who shared it their USDT.

How the Tangem referral program pays the referrer

The referral program lives inside the Tangem app. You open the menu with the three dots, choose a wallet, select Referral program, read the conditions and tap Participate. After you confirm with your access code and scan your card, the app generates a unique code and shows TRC-20TRC-20 is the token standard on the Tron blockchain. USDT on Tron is cheap to send, but each transfer needs a little TRX, Tron's native coin, to pay for network resources. USDT and TRX addresses where rewards arrive.

Rewards go to your own wallet, not to a store account, which makes Tangem’s program closer to cash than Trezor’s vouchers. Tangem says there is no limit on the number of referrals. Payment is made after the friend’s order is delivered and no earlier than 30 days after the purchase.

Two practical notes. You need a Tangem Wallet to join; the partner page states this directly. And to move USDT off Tron you need a small amount of TRX for network fees, so plan to deposit a few TRX if you want to send the rewards elsewhere. Fake Tangem promo codes and 50% claims

Search for a Tangem discount code and you will meet pages promising 50% off, codes “verified minutes ago” and lists of a dozen codes that all point to the same affiliate link. Tangem’s real numbers are 10% for a code and up to 30% through a link or a seasonal promotion. Anything larger should be tested on tangem.com’s own checkout before you trust it, and anything that sends you to a different domain to “activate” the code should be closed.

Buying a Tangem Wallet safely

Card wallets have their own safety rules, and a discount is never worth breaking them.

1. Buy on tangem.com or from an authorised reseller listed by Tangem. A card bought second-hand cannot be fully trusted, because you cannot see what was done with it.
2. Never use a pre-activated card. A new Tangem card is empty until you scan it with the app and create a wallet. If the app shows an existing wallet or asks for an access code you did not set, do not use it.
3. Never share a recovery phrase or access code. Tangem’s default setup does not use a seed phrase at all; the backup is the extra cards. If you chose the optional seed phrase mode, those words must never be typed into a website or sent to anyone claiming to be support.
4. Store backup cards apart. The card set is your backup. Keeping all cards in one wallet pocket defeats the point.
5. Install the official Tangem app only. Fake wallet apps in app stores are a known phishing route.

Tangem vs other hardware wallet codes

Tangem’s referral link is the deepest discount we found on a mainstream hardware wallet, and its referrer reward is paid in a stablecoin rather than store credit.

Is a Tangem promo code worth it?

Yes, if a Tangem Wallet suits you. The typed code reliably takes off 10%, and the link has been taking off 30%, which on a three-card set saves about $21. The weak spot is transparency: Tangem’s help center and blog disagree on both the discount and the referrer reward, and the bigger figure comes from a promotion that can end without notice. Click the link, check the cart, and if a sitewide code shows a better price, use that one instead.
