How to claim it, step by step
- Step 1
Get a Solana wallet
Install Jupiter Wallet, Phantom or another Solana wallet. Jupiter Perps needs no account or KYC; you sign each trade in the wallet.
- Step 2
Fund it with SOL and collateral
Keep about 0.03 SOL for transaction fees, which is what the interface recommends, plus at least $10 of collateral per new position.
- Step 3
Open Jupiter Perps on jup.ag
Connect the wallet on the Perps page. There is no referral code field, and none is needed.
- Step 4
Check the Total Fees breakdown
Before you confirm, the trade form shows the 0.06% open fee, price impact, borrow fees due, transaction fee and refundable account rent.
- Step 5
Only for the card: enter a Spend code at sign-up
If you want the Jupiter Spend card, enter a friend's code on the Got a referral code? screen in the Jupiter app when you create your Global ID.
Here is the short answer most pages about the Jupiter referral code avoid: Jupiter Perps has no referral code and no referral discount for traders. You cannot enter a code on the perps page, no code changes the 0.06% base fee, and the referral feature that used to exist on jup.ag’s Rewards Hub has ended. Jupiter’s own FAQ says so directly.
That does not mean “Jupiter referral” means nothing. Jupiter runs two real programs with “referral” in the name: an integrator fee program for developers building on its APIs, and a card referral for Jupiter Spend that pays $10 and $20 in USDC after KYC. This page explains both, what Jupiter Perps really costs, and why some “referral links” make you pay more.
- 0%fee discount any code gives on Jupiter Perps
- 0.06%base fee to open and again to close a perps position
- $20Spend card reward for a new user after $1,000 of spend
- 50–255 bpsfee range integrators can add to swaps
What exists and what does not
We went through Jupiter’s user docs and developer docs product by product. The table sums up what a “Jupiter referral code” can mean today.
| Program | Who it pays | What you get as a user | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jupiter Perps code | Nobody | Nothing: no code field exists | Never offered |
| Rewards Hub referrals (Trading Card Game) | Referrers, in trading points | Nothing new | Ended; code entry removed |
| Integrator Referral Program | Apps and developers | You pay their extra fee | Live, developer-only |
| Jupiter Spend referral | Both sides, in USDC | $20 after KYC and $1,000 spend | Live |
If a website gives you a “Jupiter Perps referral code” with a percentage next to it, compare that with the trade form. The Total Fees breakdown on jup.ag shows the 0.06% open fee and nothing that subtracts a referral share. Our guide to fake crypto bonuses covers why these pages exist: they collect clicks for keywords that have no real offer behind them.
The Rewards Hub referral program has ended
For a while, jup.ag ran trading campaigns called the Trading Card Game (TCG) through its Rewards Hub. You earned trading points by swapping eligible pairs in Ultra Mode or Limit Order V2. The points turned into cards, and each card was a lootbox paying a random reward. In Season 2 a card cost 100,000 points, and 87.399% of cards paid just 1 JupUSD. Referrers earned a share of their referrals’ trading points.
Two seasons ran, and both are over. Jupiter’s FAQ says the referrals were part of those seasons, that jup.ag no longer offers Rewards Hub referral links or a field to enter a code, and that no Rewards Hub referral program is running. Points already earned through past referrals were counted in those seasons. Note too that even when it ran, this was a swap campaign, not a perps discount.
Jupiter’s real Referral Program is for developers
The official “Jupiter Referral Program” is an open-source on-chain program for developers. Wallets, trading bots and websites that route swaps through Jupiter’s Swap API, Trigger API or the Plugin widget can set up a referral account on the Jupiter Referral Dashboard and charge users a fee.
The rules are public. On the Swap API’s /order path, an integrator passes a referral account and a referralFee between 50 and 255 basis points (0.5% to 2.55%). Jupiter keeps 20% of that fee and charges no separate platform fee on top. Note which way the money flows. This is not a discount. It is an extra fee added to your swap and paid to the app you used.
The developer program covers Swap, Trigger and Plugin. Jupiter Perps is not on that list.
Jupiter Spend: the one referral that pays users
Jupiter Spend is a card product run by Jupiter Global, not part of the perps exchange. It is the only Jupiter referral where a new user gets something, and it needs KYC.
| Referrer | New user | |
|---|---|---|
| Reward | $10 | $20 |
| Condition | Friend spends $50 on the Jupiter Card | Friend spends $1,000 on the card |
| Time limit | Within 30 days of the friend’s KYC approval | Within 30 days of card activation |
| Paid as | USD credited to a USDC Rewards balance | Same |
The two 30-day windows start on different dates, and only transactions fully settled inside the window count. ATM withdrawals, P2P transfers, crypto purchases, gambling, money transfers and other financial services earn neither cashback nor referral rewards. You enter the code in the Jupiter app on the Got a referral code? screen while you create your Global ID. That screen is part of sign-up, so plan to enter the code then.
Spend also pays 2% cashback, capped at $100 a month. Referring at least two qualifying friends in a calendar month raises it to 4%, capped at $200, for the following month. The Rewards balance moves to the card balance instantly. Direct withdrawal to an external wallet is not available.
Open Referral PageWhat Jupiter Perps actually costs
With no code to apply, your cost is the published fee schedule. Jupiter Perps trades SOL, ETH and wBTC against the JLP liquidity pool at oracle prices, with up to 250x leverage, at least $10 of collateral per new position and up to six positions at once. Newer Beta markets (JUP, HYPE, ZEC and stock perps) run on a separate order book engine with USDC collateral and maker and taker fees instead.
| Fee on JLP markets | When | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Base fee | Open and close | 0.06% of size |
| Price impact fee | Open and close | Scales with size; base plus impact capped at 0.50% |
| Borrow fee | Every hour the position is open | Utilization-based hourly rate on full size |
| Swap fee | If collateral needs converting | 0.10% base (0.02% stable to stable) |
| Liquidation fee | On liquidation | All remaining collateral |
Worked example: a $10,000 SOL long costs $6 to open and $6 to close, plus about $1 of linear price impact each way at the parameters Jupiter lists. That is roughly $14 before borrow fees. Because the borrow feeAn hourly charge for the assets you borrow from the liquidity pool to build a leveraged position. It accrues on the full position size, not just your margin. runs on the full position size, holding a leveraged trade for days can cost more than opening it. A 4% or 10% referral discount, if one existed, would trim less than $1.50 from the round trip, which puts the “code” pages in perspective.
No-KYC wallet setup and Solana gas
Jupiter Perps needs no account. You connect a Solana wallet and sign. Each trade pays a Solana network fee plus a priority fee Jupiter sets automatically. Trade requests also create small accounts whose SOL rent is refunded once the trade executes. The interface recommends keeping 0.03 SOL in the wallet so requests and their execution go through. On the JLP markets you can pay with SOL, USDC or other verified tokens, and Jupiter swaps them into the right collateral for you, charging the swap fee when it does.
Risks that matter more than a code
Liquidation takes everything left. If a position is liquidated, Jupiter keeps all remaining collateral as the liquidation fee. At 100x or 250x, a move of well under 1% can trigger it, and borrow fees move your liquidation price closer over time.
Oracle and execution risk. Trades fill at oracle prices sourced from Chaos Labs Edge, Chainlink and Pyth, executed by Jupiter’s keeper. In fast markets a limit order or stop loss near the liquidation price may not fill in time.
Smart contract risk. Jupiter’s own risk notice says the protocol has been audited but that no audit removes all risk. Your counterparty on the JLP markets is a pool, not a regulated broker.
The bottom line on Jupiter referrals
For trading, there is no referral code to find, and the fee schedule is identical for everyone. If a referral discount on perps matters to you, other venues offer one: Hyperliquid gives 4% off for your first $25M of volume, and Aster shares up to 10% of fees for 365 days. Compare the rest in our perp DEX hub. If you already use the Phantom wallet for Solana, it works with Jupiter Perps as it is.
What works
- Jupiter's docs say plainly that the Rewards Hub referral program has ended, so nobody needs to hunt for a perps code.
- Jupiter Perps needs only a Solana wallet: no KYC, no sign-up form, minimum collateral of $10.
- The Jupiter Spend card referral pays real USDC: $10 to the referrer and $20 to the new user at fixed milestones.
- Integrator referral fees are published openly (50–255 bps, Jupiter keeps 20%).
Watch out for
- No referral code reduces Jupiter Perps fees; code sites promising a discount are wrong.
- Referral links from third-party apps built on Jupiter can add 0.5% to 2.55% in integrator fees to your swaps.
- The $20 Spend reward requires KYC and $1,000 of card spending within 30 days of card activation.
- Liquidation on Jupiter Perps takes all remaining collateral as a fee.
Skip the search for a Jupiter referral code if you want cheaper perps: there is none, and the base fee is the same 0.06% for everyone. A Jupiter referral is only worth something if you plan to use the Jupiter Spend card and will spend $1,000 in the first month, which earns $20 after KYC.
