BingX’s download page promises new users “up to 7,000 USDT in rewards”, and nearly every BingX referral code site repeats it. What the code really changes is less flashy and more durable. It connects your account to an inviter, and that inviter can assign part of their commission to you as a trading fee rebate that, for codes made under the current rules, has no end date. The 7,000 USDT is a separate layer of new-user tasks that pays mostly in futures Trial Funds, a kind of practice margin that never becomes withdrawable cash.
Both are worth understanding before you register, because the code cannot be changed afterwards and can be added late only under one strict condition.
- 10–20%inviter commission on your spot and futures fees
- 45%maximum rebate ratio an inviter can set on a code
- No expiryon referee rebates for codes under current rules
- 7,000 USDTadvertised ceiling of new-user rewards, mostly Trial Funds
What a BingX referral code gives you
The BingX referral program has three layers, and only one of them is controlled by the code you choose.
| Part of the offer | Who gets it | Paid as | Withdrawable? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inviter commission | The inviter | Share of your spot and futures fees | Yes |
| Referee rebate | You | Part of that commission, set per code | Yes |
| New-user tasks | You | Trial Funds, rebate vouchers, Bonus | Principal no, profits yes |
| Indirect commission | Inviter at Lv2+ | Fees from your own referrals | Yes |
BingX calls the referee rebate “Earn Crypto Together”. The inviter opens Invite to Earn → Other Referral Codes (the help center also calls it “Add Benefits for Referees”) and decides what share of their commission each new code passes on. That is why two BingX codes can give you different rebates even though the new-user tasks are the same for everyone in your region.
The rebate that does not expire
This is BingX’s real advantage. In an official notice, BingX changed how long referees keep the rebate. For any code created in the referee-benefits section after that change took effect, the referee enjoys the rebate ratio for an unlimited time. Codes created before the cut-off gave only 90 days, so an old code recycled on a forum may still carry the short limit.
Compare that with CoinEx, where the rebate halves after six months and ends at twelve (see our CoinEx referral code review), and BingX looks generous for long-term traders. There is one ceiling: BingX caps the rebate ratio on new codes at 45%, and existing codes above that were cut back to 45%. BingX does not publish a default rebate for referees, so the figure you get is whatever the code’s creator set, up to that cap.
What the rebate is worth: worked example
Because BingX does not publish one fixed invitee rate, it is clearer to think in dollars of fees you pay. Futures traders pay most of their costs in taker feesTaker orders fill immediately against existing orders, like a market order, and usually pay the higher fee. Maker orders wait in the order book., and those add up fast with leverage, since BingX counts volume as margin times leverage.
| Fees you pay per month | Rebate 5% of fees | Rebate 10% of fees | Over 2 years at 10% |
|---|---|---|---|
| $20 | $1 | $2 | $48 |
| $100 | $5 | $10 | $240 |
| $500 | $25 | $50 | $1,200 |
| $2,000 | $100 | $200 | $4,800 |
The last column is where “no expiry” matters. On a program that stops after 12 months, the $500-a-month trader would collect $600; on BingX they keep collecting as long as they trade. Check the live fee schedule for your tier and order type, and read our primer on maker vs taker fees if you are unsure which one you usually pay.
Open Referral PageThe 7,000 USDT welcome package, decoded
BingX advertises “up to 7,000 USDT in rewards” on its app download page. The exact task list changes with each campaign and is shown in the Rewards Hub and on event pages, but the reward types are documented in the help center:
- Trial Fund vouchers. Redeemed into a Futures account and usable as margin. They offset part of your realized losses, negative funding fees and Guaranteed Price fees according to an offset ratio printed on the voucher. They cannot pay trading fees.
- Rebate vouchers. Return part of the trading fee after a trade completes.
- Bonus. Usable as futures margin. The Bonus itself cannot be withdrawn, but profits made with it can.
The unlock tasks attached to Trial Fund vouchers usually include one or more of these: completing advanced KYC, reaching a cumulative futures trading volume counted from the moment you receive the voucher, making a net deposit (deposits minus withdrawals), or holding a minimum USDT balance of your own in the Futures account. You can redeem a voucher only when your own funds in that account meet the threshold printed on it.
A realistic reading: a new user who deposits a few hundred USDT and trades futures moderately might unlock tens of USDT in Trial Funds. The upper tiers need large deposits and heavy volume. Our guide on inflated crypto bonuses explains why “up to” figures like this are built from the most demanding tier.
Rewards Hub tasks and the copy-trading angle
Beyond the new-user tasks, the BingX Rewards Hub has published recurring tasks, and two of them tie directly into copy trading and grid bots. The figures below come from BingX’s Rewards Hub rules and may be updated by campaign:
| Task | Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly spot volume | 3,000 USDT per week | 5 USDT rebate voucher |
| Weekly futures volume | 15,000 USDT per week | 5 USDT Bonus |
| Copy a trader | Select any trader to copy | 2 USDT Bonus, unlocks at 1,000 USDT volume |
| Create a grid strategy | Spot, futures or infinity grid | 2 USDT Bonus, unlocks at 1,000 USDT volume |
Trial Funds can also be used in futures copy trading, which makes BingX one of the few exchanges where a welcome reward can fund a copied position. The losses still come from your own money once the Trial Fund’s offset share runs out, so treat it as a small cushion, not a guarantee.
Can you add a BingX code after signing up?
Yes, with a strict condition. BingX lets you bind a code later through My Referrer, as long as you have not made a deposit of any kind (including crypto sent from another platform and Buy Crypto purchases) and have not invited anyone yourself. After either of those happens, the option is gone. Once a code is bound it cannot be changed or removed. If you want a specific rebate, decide before your first deposit. Our step-by-step guide on how to use a referral code covers the timing traps across exchanges.
KYC and who cannot use BingX
You can open a BingX account and trade without immediate identity checks, but advanced KYC appears as an unlock condition on many Trial Fund vouchers and new-user events, so skipping it usually means skipping the welcome rewards. BingX also disqualifies multiple accounts sharing an IP address, device or KYC identity.
BingX’s disclaimer lists jurisdictions it does not accept, including the United States and its territories, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Singapore, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Afghanistan, Panama, Somalia, several other African states and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Rewards Hub tasks are also blocked for users in restricted regions.
Who should use a BingX referral code
| Your profile | What you get | Our take |
|---|---|---|
| Spot buyer, a few trades a year | Small rebate, Trial Funds you will not use | Low value; consider spot-focused exchanges |
| Active futures trader | Ongoing rebate on every fee, plus Trial Funds | Strong fit, pick a code with a clear rebate |
| Copy-trading beginner | Trial Funds usable in futures copy trading | Useful cushion, but losses beyond it are yours |
| US, UK or Canadian resident | No access | Not an option |
For the inviter’s side of the story, BingX’s two-level structure (10% at Lv1, 20% at Lv2 after 10 friends sign up and trade, plus indirect commission from Lv2 up) is a classic example of a multi-level referral system. If you are comparing futures-heavy exchanges, Bybit and BloFin are the closest alternatives, and our exchange referral programs hub lists them side by side. For the general logic of fee sharing, see how referral kickbacks work.
What works
- Referee rebates on codes made under the current rules have no time limit, unlike programs that stop after 6 or 12 months.
- The rebate is calculated on both spot and futures trading fees.
- A forgotten code can still be added via My Referrer as long as you have not deposited or invited anyone.
- Profits made with Trial Funds and Bonus can be withdrawn, even though the principal cannot.
Watch out for
- The 7,000 USDT headline is a ceiling of task rewards, mostly futures Trial Funds that cannot be withdrawn or used on spot.
- BingX does not publish a standard invitee discount; the rebate depends on what the inviter assigned to the code.
- Trial Funds cannot pay trading fees, and withdrawing or transferring funds out can wipe the remaining Trial Fund balance.
- Residents of the US, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands and Singapore cannot use BingX at all.
Use a BingX referral code if you will trade regularly, because a rebate with no end date is rare and it covers futures as well as spot. Ignore the 7,000 USDT banner when deciding: almost all of it is futures margin that only helps if you already plan to trade leveraged products, and none of the principal can leave the account.
