- No standing welcome amount is published. Rewards run through time-limited events in the Bonus Center; past events paid futures bonuses tied to deposits and volume.
- Fee discount (kickback)A kickback is the share of your own trading fees the platform hands back to you, usually for as long as the account exists.
- Not published. Any discount comes from an affiliate sharing its commission, not from an Ourbit rule.
- Referrer reward
- Affiliates: 50% of referred users' trading fees plus 10% of sub-affiliate earnings. Past invite events paid 10 USDT to each side.
- KYCKnow Your Customer: identity verification with an ID document and often a selfie, required by regulated platforms before bonuses or withdrawals.
- Required by the User Agreement: government ID plus a photo holding the ID.

How to claim it, step by step
- Step 1
Open the Ourbit sign-up page
Use a referral link or go to ourbit.com/register and type the code into the Referral Code (Optional) field before submitting.
- Step 2
Register and verify your identity
Ourbit's User Agreement asks for a government ID and a photo of you holding it. Finish this before chasing any event reward.
- Step 3
Check the Bonus Center
Open Event Center → Bonus Center to see which new-user tasks are live and what each one pays. This is the only place the current amounts are shown.
- Step 4
Deposit and trade under the event rules
Past events counted on-chain, P2P and third-party deposits but not internal transfers, and excluded stablecoin and zero-fee pairs from volume.
- Step 5
Keep the net deposit until rewards arrive
Ourbit's past events required the net deposit to be held until distribution. Withdrawing early reduces or cancels the reward.
Type “Ourbit referral code” into a search engine and the first results are rarely Ourbit. They are shared documents and forum posts promising 25%, 50% or 60% off trading fees and bonuses of 5,000, 20,000 or 30,000 USDT, each with a different code. The numbers contradict each other because almost none of them come from Ourbit. This page does the opposite: it reports only what Ourbit itself publishes about referrals, invite rewards and new-user bonuses, and flags the gaps plainly.
The short version: Ourbit pays referrers well, pays new users in short-lived events, and does not publish a standard discount for people who sign up with a code.
- 50%affiliate commission on referred users' trading fees
- 10 USDTper side in Ourbit's documented invite event
- 15 daysfor invitees to complete past invite tasks
- 0published standard fee discount for invitees
What Ourbit itself says about referral codes
Ourbit’s sign-up page has a single Referral Code (Optional) field and a line inviting you to register “and claim the reward”, without naming an amount. The referral and affiliate pages fill in the inviter’s side. The invitee’s side lives in time-limited events announced in the help center and shown in the in-app Bonus Center.
| Claim you will see online | What Ourbit publishes | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 50% commission | 50% of referred users’ fees for approved affiliates | Confirmed, inviter side |
| 50% fee discount for you | No standard invitee discount | Not confirmed |
| Up to 20,000 or 30,000 USDT bonus | No standing welcome pack; event-based futures bonuses | Not confirmed |
| Lifetime rewards | “Lifetime commissions” on new active clients | Confirmed, inviter side |
In other words, the big percentages online describe what the person sharing the code earns. Whether any of it reaches you depends on that person, and Ourbit does not guarantee it.
How the Ourbit affiliate commission works
Ourbit’s affiliate page advertises 50% commission on the trading fees of every trader an affiliate refers, plus 10% of what their sub-affiliates earn, paid in the affiliate’s preferred cryptocurrency. Commissions are calculated the next day. The affiliate terms add three details that matter:
- Commission is calculated at Ourbit’s sole discretion, on fees after trading fee discounts and other costs such as referral bonuses are deducted.
- The ratio can be adjusted based on the number of referrals and their volume, but changes are not retroactive.
- An approved affiliate can allocate part of its rebate ratio to sub-affiliatesA referral who becomes an affiliate under you. You give them part of your commission rate and earn a share of what they bring in..
That last point is how “fee discount” codes are made: an affiliate hands part of the 50% to its sign-ups. It is a private arrangement on top of Ourbit’s rules, which is why the advertised discounts vary from 20% to 60%. Our guide to referral vs affiliate programs explains why the two are often confused.
Ourbit invite events: the only invitee rewards on record
The most detailed invitee terms Ourbit has published come from its Telegram-bot invite events. They show the shape of Ourbit’s offers, even though these particular events have ended.
| Event element | Condition | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Invite reward | Invitee deposits over 100 USDT, holds 7 days, trades 500 USDT | 10 USDT to inviter and invitee each |
| Inviter cap | Up to 5 invitees | Up to 50 USDT |
| Sign-up tasks (first 50 users) | Phone, 100 USDT deposit, 200 USDT spot, 1,000 USDT futures | 25 USDT futures bonus per step |
| Volume tier, lowest | 100 USDT net deposit, 50,000 USDT volume | 30 USDT |
| Volume tier, highest | 1,000 USDT net deposit, 10,000,000 USDT volume | 1,000 USDT |
Look at the last row. The “up to 1,000 USDT” headline needed ten million dollars of trading volume, limited to the top 50 traders. Tiers were not cumulative, invitees had 15 days, internal transfers did not count as deposits, and stablecoin and zero-fee pairs did not count as volume. Rewards were withheld if either side was flagged as an affiliate, market maker or broker account.
Open Referral PageDebunking the 20,000 USDT Ourbit bonus
Large “up to” figures on code pages usually add every tier, competition prize pool and event bonus Ourbit has ever run into one number. One past Ourbit promotion, for example, combined a 100 USDT sign-up task, a 1,000 USDT volume tier, a trading competition worth up to 12,000 USDT in futures bonuses and a separate memecoin prize pool. Adding those together produces an impressive headline, but no single new user could collect it, and the competition part goes to the top traders only.
The test is simple: if the page does not link to an Ourbit announcement with the exact terms, assume the figure is marketing. Our guide to spotting misleading crypto bonuses lists the other warning signs, such as screenshots without dates and codes that “expire tonight”.
A worked example: a typical small account
Suppose an Ourbit event like the documented one is live, and you deposit 150 USDT, keep it for a week and trade 2,000 USDT of futures.
| Item | Met? | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Invite reward (500 USDT volume, over 100 USDT deposit, 7-day hold) | Yes | 10 USDT |
| Lowest volume tier (50,000 USDT) | No | 0 |
| Fee discount from the code | Only if the affiliate shares it | Not published |
| What the inviter earns | 50% of your fees if an affiliate | Depends on fee rate |
That is a realistic Ourbit referral outcome for a newcomer: a few tens of dollars in futures credit at best. Bigger rewards require trading volumes that are out of reach for most people.
Fees: the number Ourbit does not show
Ourbit has a public fee page and a VIP page, but the rate columns for regular users were not displayed when we checked; the VIP 0 row shows only the entry requirement of zero equity or zero 30-day futures volume, and the page notes that fees may vary by region. Without published base rates, no one can calculate what a “50% discount” is worth. Check the fee shown in your trade history after a first small order, and see our maker vs taker fees guide to read it correctly.
KYC, account rules and excluded countries
Ourbit’s User Agreement requires identity verification: full name, address, date of birth and nationality, a government ID and a photo of you holding that ID in front of your chest. Each person may keep only one main account, and Ourbit links related accounts by device, IP address and behavior. Breaking that rule can mean frozen positions, cancelled profits and a permanent ban. Read our KYC for crypto bonuses guide for document tips.
The excluded jurisdictions include the United States, China, Singapore, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Sudan, the Canadian province of Ontario, the Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine and a notable list of EU countries: France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Austria and Portugal. Ourbit can add more at its discretion.
Should you use an Ourbit referral code?
If you live in a supported country and want a futures-heavy exchange, a code costs nothing and may unlock a small event bonus. If your priority is a documented, lasting fee discount, Ourbit’s own terms do not offer one, and exchanges such as MEXC publish far more about their referral rules. Compare Ourbit with similar platforms like KCEX and WEEX, or browse the full exchange referral list before depositing.
What works
- Ourbit's affiliate page states its commission plainly: 50% of referred users' trading fees plus 10% from sub-affiliates.
- Past invite events paid the same 10 USDT to both the inviter and the invitee, with conditions written out in full.
- The sign-up form shows the referral field as optional, so you can open an account without any code.
- Ourbit publishes a Proof of Reserves page and an official verification tool for checking links and contacts.
Watch out for
- Ourbit publishes no standing welcome bonus or invitee fee discount; third-party claims of 50% off fees cannot be confirmed.
- Event tiers need very high volume, for example 10,000,000 USDT of trading for the top 1,000 USDT bonus in one past event.
- Accounts flagged as affiliate, market maker or broker accounts were excluded from invite rewards on both sides.
- The global site is closed to US residents and to several large EU markets, including France, Germany, Spain and Italy.
- Fee rates by VIP level are not shown on Ourbit's public fee and VIP pages.
An Ourbit referral code is a reasonable choice only if you already want a futures-focused exchange and live in a supported country. Ignore the 20,000 USDT headlines: Ourbit's own terms show short invite events worth tens of dollars and an affiliate commission that pays the inviter, not you. Check the Bonus Center before depositing.
