- Not available in the US, UK, Canada, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kazakhstan and sanctioned countries
- How the bonus unlocksWhat you must do (deposit, trade a volume, hold funds) before the bonus becomes usable or withdrawable.
- Task-based: first transfer, first futures trade, cumulative futures volume and deposit-and-hold tasks with their own deadlines
How to claim it, step by step
- Step 1
Open the BYDFi sign-up page with the referral code
Use the referral link or paste the code into the Referral code field. BYDFi treats referral and promo codes the same way: one code, one referrer.
- Step 2
Verify your identity
Complete Primary KYC (ID photos, reviewed within 24 hours) or go straight to Advanced KYC. Many Rewards Hub tasks will not pay without it, and fiat depositors need KYC before any withdrawal.
- Step 3
Open the Rewards Hub and claim the new-user tasks
Log in and open Rewards Hub. Tasks and amounts are shown per account; claim each task before you start it, because volume before claiming is not counted.
- Step 4
Deposit and keep the net deposit in place
Deposit tasks use net deposits (deposits minus withdrawals, transfers out and P2P sells) and may require you to hold the amount for a set number of days.
- Step 5
Trade USDT-M futures to use the bonus
The futures bonus is credited to your futures wallet and only works on USDT-M perpetuals. Withdrawing from the futures wallet before it is used up forfeits the rest.
Search for a BYDFi referral code and you will find promises of 8,100 USDT, 50% fee discounts and accounts “for US and EU traders”. None of those claims appear on BYDFi’s own website. What BYDFi actually publishes is narrower and, in one respect, better than most exchanges: a fixed 20% commission for the person who invites you, a Rewards Hub of new-user tasks paid in futures bonus, and a rare 30-day window to attach a referral code after you have already signed up.
This page treats “BYDFi referral code” and “BYDFi promo code” as the same thing, because on BYDFi they are. There is one code field, one referrer per account, and the welcome rewards come from the Rewards Hub, not from a special promo string.
- 20%of your Spot and Futures fees paid to a standard referrer

What a BYDFi referral code actually gives you
BYDFi’s referral page is short and clear about the inviter’s side. For standard accounts, the commission is 20% of the referee’s trading fees on both Spot and Futures, credited the following day. Users who want more can apply to the affiliate program, where BYDFi quotes rates from 5% up to 70% depending on tier, and a multi-level system with a default maximum of 50% that lets affiliates build sub-teams.
What the page does not say is anything about the invitee. BYDFi publishes no fee discount, no kickbackA kickback is part of your own trading fee that the exchange returns to you because you joined through someone's code. A 10% kickback on $10 of fees gives you $1 back. percentage and no special welcome amount tied to a referral code. Its multi-level affiliate guide mentions that affiliates can pre-configure commission splits for Spot, Futures and Prediction Markets on their codes, which suggests some codes may share part of the commission, but BYDFi does not document how that reaches the new user. Until a code shows you a percentage on the sign-up screen, assume your fees are the same as everyone else’s.
| Part of the offer | Who gets it | What BYDFi publishes |
|---|---|---|
| Referral commission | Standard referrer | 20% of Spot and Futures fees |
| Affiliate commission | Approved affiliate | 5% to 70%, by tier |
| Invitee fee discount | You | Not published |
| New-user tasks | You | Task types, but no fixed amounts |
The 30-day linking rule: a real advantage
Most exchanges close the referral door the second your account exists. BYDFi does not. Its self-service referrer linking lets you attach a referrer by code or UID if you skipped the field at sign-up. The conditions:
- The account must have been registered within the past 30 days.
- Only main accounts can link a referrer; sub-accounts cannot.
- The referrer must have registered before you did.
- Your account and the referrer’s account cannot share identity information.
- Once linked, the relationship cannot be changed.
BYDFi’s user invitation agreement adds one more condition that the linking guide does not repeat: if you deposit without a code bound, including through Buy Crypto, the binding function stops working. The safe order is therefore register, link a code, then deposit. Our guide on how to use a referral code covers why the order of these steps matters across exchanges.
The Rewards Hub: where the welcome bonus lives
BYDFi’s new-user value is delivered through the Rewards Hub, which shows a “New User Exclusive” tab after login. BYDFi’s help center describes the task types but not their amounts. Based on the task rules it publishes, you can expect a mix of:
- First transfer or first deposit tasks, sometimes requiring the net deposit to be held for a number of days.
- First futures trade and 7-day cumulative futures volume tasks.
- App login rewards paid as a small voucher.
- Loss-coverage vouchers that refund a losing first trade up to a fixed amount.
Two rules shape all of these. First, net deposit is defined as on-chain deposits plus P2P and fiat purchases, minus withdrawals, P2P sales, transfers out and gifts sent. Withdrawing during a holding period makes the task fail. Second, only volume after you claim a task counts, and trades with zero fees, trades paid with fee vouchers and stablecoin pairs such as USDC/USDT are excluded.
Open Referral PageHow BYDFi’s futures bonus and vouchers work
Almost everything the Rewards Hub pays out is one of three products, and none of them is cash.
Futures bonus. It works only on USDT-M futures, including regular trading, copy trading and grid bots. It covers trading fees, funding fees and realized losses first, and acts as margin when your USDT runs short. Profits are withdrawable; the bonus is not. If you withdraw any assets from the futures wallet before the bonus is used up, the remainder is forfeited on the spot. Fees paid with the bonus also earn your referrer nothing.
BYDFi documents a second variant, the perpetual contract bonus, which can cover at most 50% of fees and 50% of margin, must be combined with real funds, works only in one-way mode, and limits leverage to 5x while your wallet holds less than 100 USDT.
Fee vouchers. These only offset futures trading fees, cannot be used as margin and cannot be withdrawn. They are applied automatically and expire.
Loss-coverage vouchers. Apply one to a futures order and, if the position closes at a loss, BYDFi refunds the realized loss (excluding fees) up to the voucher’s face value. With a 50 USDT voucher, a 30 USDT loss is refunded in full, while an 80 USDT loss is refunded only 50 USDT. The refund arrives as futures bonus, not USDT.
BYDFi fees: what the bonus has to cover
BYDFi’s standard rates are 0.1% for Spot makers and takers and 0.02% maker or 0.06% taker on USDT-M and COIN-M perpetual futures. Convert trades carry no separate fee because the cost is built into the quoted price. Our guide to maker vs taker fees explains why the difference matters for futures traders.
| Monthly futures volume (taker) | Fees at 0.06% | Referrer’s 20% | Your discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $6 | $1.20 | Not published |
| $100,000 | $60 | $12 | Not published |
| $500,000 | $300 | $60 | Not published |
The table makes the trade-off plain. As an illustration, a 20 USDT futures bonus spent only on taker fees would cover about $33,000 of volume at 0.06%. That is useful for a trial, but it is a one-off: there is no ongoing saving unless your code comes with a published kickback.
KYC and the no-KYC question
BYDFi’s KYC article says that all users who deposit fiat must complete KYC before making any withdrawal. It also lists withdrawals, higher withdrawal limits and participation in campaigns among the features KYC unlocks. Primary KYC takes ID photos and is reviewed within 24 hours; Advanced KYC adds more checks, and many Rewards Hub tasks require it together with a linked phone number and email.
What BYDFi does not publish is a specific withdrawal limit for crypto-only users who skip verification. Code pages that describe BYDFi as a no-KYC exchange are going further than BYDFi’s own help center, so plan on verifying if you want the bonuses. Our KYC guide for crypto bonuses explains what each level usually involves.
Who cannot use BYDFi
BYDFi’s User Agreement lists its prohibited jurisdictions: North Korea, Cuba, Sudan, Iran, Mainland China, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, the Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine, Canada, and any country under comprehensive EU or OFAC sanctions or on the FATF high-risk list. Individual events can exclude further regions. That directly contradicts the “BYDFi referral code for US traders” pages, which is one more reason to read our guide on spotting fake crypto bonuses.
Is a BYDFi referral code worth it?
| Your profile | What you get | Our take |
|---|---|---|
| Futures beginner | Bonus funds and loss-coverage vouchers | Worth trying with a small deposit |
| Forgot the code at sign-up | 30-day linking window | Link it before you deposit |
| High-volume trader | No published kickback | Compare Bitunix and BloFin |
| US or UK resident | Not eligible | Choose another of our exchange reviews |
A BYDFi referral code is best seen as a ticket to the Rewards Hub plus a commission for whoever shared it. The real welcome value is modest and paid in futures credit, and the generous linking window is the one feature most rival exchanges do not match.
What works
- You can still link a referrer within 30 days of registering, as long as you have not made a deposit yet.
- Profits made with the futures bonus can be withdrawn once the position is closed.
- BYDFi publishes clear bonus rules, including the net-deposit formula and what happens when a bonus expires.
- Loss-coverage vouchers refund realized futures losses up to the voucher's face value, paid as futures bonus.
Watch out for
- BYDFi publishes no fixed welcome amount and no invitee fee discount; the numbers only appear after login.
- Third-party pages advertise up to 8,100 USDT and US access, neither of which appears on BYDFi's own pages.
- Withdrawing anything from the futures wallet before the bonus is used up forfeits the remaining bonus immediately.
- BYDFi does not accept users from the US, UK, Canada, Singapore or Hong Kong.
A BYDFi referral code is a reasonable pick for futures traders outside the US and UK who want to test the platform with bonus funds, and the 30-day linking window is a genuine plus. Ignore the four-figure promo numbers: the welcome value is a set of futures bonus tasks whose size you only see after signing in, and the code gives you no published fee discount.
